Graz is Austria's 2nd largest city. Arnie Schwarzie was born in Graz, a fact which Graz used to be quite proud of, but since an execution that took place while Arnie was Governor of California, Graz wants nothing more to do with him. The old town was gorgeous, and the city had a really nice vibe, lots of people out and about, shopping, eating and drinking. The city is quite beautiful, it's architecture a standout.

Although that said, one thing that left its mark on us was that there were a lot of people with disabilities or deformed limbs begging in the streets, very sad.

We stumbled across this town where we bought some earrings while driving across the beautiful Austrian countryside. The gorgeous buildings called out to us and after driving through the tiny streets and checking out the old houses and shops, we felt obligated to pull the car over and park near the piazza to check out the local fair.

We bought handmade earrings made out of local granite from a lovely local jeweller. Rather embarrassingly, we didn't find out the name of this town so have decided to call it Rathaus which is the name of a beautiful building in Austria. Call it artistic license...

Wolfsberg (the town) is the capital of the Wolfsberg district. It is situated within the Alps in the valley of the Lavant River and as a result, the town is full of gorgeous bridges that run across the river and through the town. We spent a lot of time wandering through the streets trying to capture the perfect photo (and the perfect purchase!).

Zwettl is a pretty town in the northern part of lower Austria, which we just stumbled across in our trek through Austria.

In Zwettl's dainty piazza we enjoyed some mouth watering prosciutto and cheese rolls in delicious French baguettes, all local ingredients that we bought from the local grocery store.
