Introduction

In my opinion 3 of the most enjoyable things in life include travelling, buying unique and handmade goodies, and of course enjoying good food with friends and family.  Robin Street Market is about all 3.  You can browse our market stalls which are filled with handmade and unique items from around the world, find out about the people who created them, and also read tales about our experiences in faraway places.  And every now and then you get to read a bit about food we enjoyed as well!

A Bit Of Nest Background

When I'm not tracking down handmade and unique goods, I work as an advisor to small business owners and my husband David is an independent singer song-writer (check out his website at the link below).  Our household consists of 2 cats; Ringo and Oly and a dog; Lola (see cute photo).  Earlier this year, David and I took off together on a world trip to meet as many artists and crafters as possible and to source a whole collection of unique and handmade gifts to bring back to our nest to share with you. We hope you enjoy!

Heaven...

If you would like to spend a bit more time with us, you can check out the Robins In The Loose Video Series at our blog. The series documents our worldwide trip in 2009 and so far we released Japan, Canada and Nashville, USA.  More countries coming soon!  If you are imagining serious travel videos, then think again, these videos are just a bit of a chuckle at our expense really! The soundtracks to the videos are songs written and performed by David, if you enjoy what you hear, you can buy his latest EP here.
